When you purchase these products you are helping provide jobs for people who are blind or visually impaired. Our manufacturing operation includes specifically designed equipment so a person with low or no vision can operate the machinery safely and efficiently. No job is too small or too large.
All of our products are made, assembled and/or packaged in San Angelo, Texas.
The West Texas Lighthouse is a private, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization which is affiliated with the National Industries for the Blind (NIB) and Texas Industries for the Blind and Handicapped (TIBH). We receive no financial assistance from any public or government entity. Our income is based almost solely on the products we make and sell. We do, however, accept monetary donations and have Friends of the Lighthouse who are long time contributors.
